Roswell Named Coolest Suburb in U.S.

The City of Roswell was named as one of the ten coolest suburbs in the United States by Gogobot!

Only two cities in the South were included in the list: Roswell and Coral Gables, Florida. The article states that Roswell was selected in part due to Canton Street, located in the historic district and known for shopping and cafes.

There’s the Ann Jackson Art Gallery, with the largest collection of Dr Seuss work in the U.S. (after all, what’s hipper than a Sneetch?) and a plethora of Southern architecture like Bulloch Hall (Teddy Roosevelt’s mom’s place), Barrington Hall (home of the town’s founders), and the Mill Village.

Downtown Roswell is charming to the core with its history, nightlife, and don’t forget — they have covered bridges.

Of course we think many OTP areas are cool, but since Gogobot selected Roswell, we would add that we love visiting Old Mill Park in the summer, the Alive in Roswell events, their award-winning restaurants and their food trucks. We’re also excited to be a sponsor of this year’s Roswell Beer Fest!
