North Fulton New Restaurants

Over the past few weeks, we had several people send us the scoop on new restaurants that have just opened or will be opening soon.  We know you all love to know about new places they can dine, so here’s a quick recap.

Roswell:

ZUZZU Sicilian Food on 42 Oak Street.  Their social media site says they are coming soon. The owners Zuzzu Roswell Scoop OTPare born in the homeland of pasta: Sicily! They will serve authentic Sicilian cuisine. Currently, their website has a countdown clock and a newsletter sign up sheet on it.  Silvana Recupero is the chef, and she promises great tasting pizza, pasta, and Sicilian plates.

Variant Brewing has a beautiful building rendering and according to their Twitter account, they are destined for the city of Roswell, but no location has been confirmed yet, just rumors about Canton Street according to Beer Guys Radio. Owner and Brewmaster Matt Curling acquired a 3,600 square feet building. According to New Urban Roswell, they say it will be located on Norcross Street across from the library and Smith Plantation. We will just have to wait and see! Follow them on Facebook for the latest updates. This brewery will be joining Gate City and Abbey of the Holy Goats breweries, also located in Roswell.

Alpharetta:

Anabelle’s Table is a locally sourced, chef inspired restaurant opened January 7th at 5530 Windward Parkway, Suite 101.  They are currently open for dinner from 6-9 with lunch and brunch Annabelle's Table Scoop OTPcoming soon. Owners Scott and Anabelle Parry have between them over fifty years’ experience in the restaurant and food industry. Their seasonal menu reflects the region’s diverse food choices as they strive to become a leader as a farm to table restaurant. Their menu link isn’t activated yet, but their Facebook page is live with some beautiful pictures of the restaurant and their food. We can’t wait to go!

Rio Balsas Taqueria of Cumming, GA is opening a second location in downtown Alpharetta at 235 South Main Street, where Bread Time previously occupied. They use only use the freshest ingredients; CYEwhyWUQAAFDRBeverything is home-made, from their tortillas to their breads and even their decadent desserts.  Fans say it’s the real taste of traditional Mexican cuisine.  This will just be another reason to head to downtown Alpharetta!

The North Fulton area has been expanding with something for everyone’s taste buds! Recently opened include: Tafa’s Mediterranean restaurant, Marietta Diner’s greek restaurant, Yeero Village, and for Portuguese fare, check out this review from  The Current Hub about Krestos.  If you just want a cup of coffee, check out recently opened Scooters or to listen to live music, visit Houck’s Grill. Plus, Avalon’s Branch & Barrel and the second location of Ceviche are now open in Alpharetta too!
