They’re back! You may already be familiar with a former OTP restaurant called Houck’s Steak and Seafood of Marietta off of Paper Mill Road — well, Bill Houck has decided to reopen his concept for the first time since 2000 with Houck’s Grille in Roswell. Established 30 years ago, Houck’s Grill could be the next big thing for OTP in 2016!
They moved into 10930 Crabapple Road, previously occupied by Sophia’s Italian Restaurant. As they prepare to open in early December, they are knee deep in the remodeling process with beautiful custom wood paneling on the bar, as well as a stage on the entertainment side. In this 6,000 square-foot building, they’ll have two distinct bars and multiple bathrooms, which is perfect for booking private events too.
Throughout the 90’s, Houck’s was the place to be in East Cobb, and his menus always featured the best steaks and seafood. They will offer those quality selections, along with the flexibility to adhere to the requests of their guests with more diverse menu options. And they’ll work closely with Whole Foods to decide on nightly specials!
In addition to live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, they will have a calendar filled with events like team trivia and family oriented fun. They also have plans for a New Year’s Event featuring Shaky Jane. The quality food and live music combination will make this destination unique.
They will be open Monday through Thursday for dinner, and Friday through Sunday for lunch and dinner with plans to open on December 3, 2015 with the Mike Veal Band.
