The contemporary all-white ambiance is breathtaking when you first walk into Bistro VG. This stylish French restaurant owned by the Sedgwick Group hit the mark.
I went for a lunch meeting and would totally go back for a romantic dinner or girl’s lunch. It has a glamorous, hip grown-up vibe. The bar area is beautiful with another eating room off the front. My friend Tammie Wilson, owner of Pary Girl Events, has hosted many parties at Bistro VG — all of which were fabulous!
A few years ago we went to a Vixen Vodka launch party there and knew we would return to Scoop it officially. My guests and I had a good sample of food including their signature and delicious white bean soup, a quail flatbread special, a rotisserie grilled chicken with eggplant and roasted red peppers.
I also ordered a salad that my husband would call “fancy” with shrimp, seared sea scallops. blackberries, and warm goat cheese. It was as good as it sounds. We ordered off their lunch menu, but their dinner menu is even more extensive — so we all vowed to return again for that one!
I’m not a formal French food connoisseur, but I do know when I have a good taste experience in a beautiful restaurant — and I did. Bistro VG is Scoop Approved.
