What will you get for Mom this Mother’s Day?

Mother’s Day is around the corner and we’ve got the Scoop on unique, local products that Mom will love!

For The Foodie Mom:

Cheeses & Mary in Milton. Owner Mary can create a beautiful gift basket or platter with locally sourced cheeses and recommend the perfect food and wine pairings for your selection. If your Foodie Mom likes to cook, Salud Cooking School at the Whole Foods in Avalon offers fun and unique classes she’s sure to enjoy.

For The Spiritual Mom:

Lokai Bracelet RAK Scoop OTPWe love Lokai bracelets at RAK Outfitters in Downtown Woodstock. Each Lokai bracelet is infused with elements from both the Dead Sea (the lowest point on earth) and Mount Everest (the highest point on earth). These extreme elements are a reminder to live a balanced life; staying humble during life’s peaks and hopeful during its lows.

For The Exercise-Loving Mom:

Even if a marathon or a triathlon isn’t in her future, she still may love many of the accessories found at the Endurance House in Alpharetta. They provide gold standard guest service for walkers, runners, and triathletes of all abilities in a genuine and encouraging atmosphere.

For The Country Mom:

Judith March baseball hat, Scoop OTPLeather N Pearle is a hip new boutique in Downtown Alpharetta that carries designer Judith March’s gorgeous and stylish boots and some of the cutest baseball hats around. Your country lovin’ Mom will say, “Thanks Y’all!”

For The Trendy Mom:

Stop by Three Sisters Gifts & Home Accents in Canton for mom’s jewelry needs. Brighton, Pandora, Alex & Ani, Lilly Pulitzer, and Spartina are just a few of the popular brands this shop carries. Be sure you let them gift wrap it for you — they do a beautiful job!

For The OTP Mom:

Does your mom love where she lives? If so, check out Ella B. Candles at The Cosmetic Market at Avalon. With city names like Cumming, Alpharetta, and more, this is a fun way for mom to rep her town. If she lives in Milton or Alpharetta, grab a cute shirt by designer SMIJ Suburban Mom in Jeans with her zip code on it!

For The Nautical Mom:

Southern Anchor Scoop OTPWe found Gainesville-based Southern Anchor Clothing that creates cute t-shirts, hats and accessories that any boat-loving mom will love. Will you get her the Tervis Tumbler, the hat, or one of their many t-shirt designs? So hard to choose! “Stay Southern – Stay Anchored!”

For The Mom Who Doesn’t Need A Thing:

Sometimes the best gift you can give is the gift of helping others. Volunteering or making a donation to a local charity in her honor is a meaningful way to show her and others that you care. We recently came across Blessings in a Backpack, a local nonprofit that sends food-filled backpacks home on the weekends with students who might otherwise go hungry. It is a national 501c3 charity that has a North Fulton chapter, and has recently expanded to Cobb county. Click here to donate and write in the school or area you wish to help. You are sure to make Momma proud!

Remember, it doesn’t take much to let your Mom know how much you appreciate her; a little goes a long way!

We hope our ideas gave you some different choices to consider this year. For last year’s ideas (which are still great options too) click here. Thank you for following and sharing the Scoop!

Scoop OTP received no compensation in selecting these options. Selections are based strictly on our personal preference of what we would be happy to receive and think others would too.
