Roswell resident Diana and her husband Chuck have created six yummy flavors of these teVenti pouches, each of which makes 8 cocktails. They started with Margarita mix and have since expanded to include different flavors that work well with Rum, Vodka, and Wine. Their newest flavor is the White Russian. The bright and bold packaging is perfect to throw in your pool or beach bag, or to bring as a hostess gift with some miniature liquor bottles for fun.
The idea was born from Diana and Chuck’s past job experience of creating a unique, compact dispenser to provide iced teas and other beverages to large format venues, like convention centers, banquet halls and hotels. The couple then migrated into consumer products, particularly the bar mixes, as they had many inquiries for their products to be used at home. They realized that the bar mix market had seen little change over the past couple decades, and they wanted to be that new standout product.
Their goal was to leave the flavors intact and to be incredibly efficient for both the retailer and the consumer. Packing the flavor in the pouch and removing the excess water delivers the most efficient use of space, whether in the store or the cupboard at home. Diana says you can play around with the liquors or wines you use. And of course there is always the option of adding just water for a non-alcoholic cocktail.
Thanks to local OTP stores like Roswell Beverage Shop and Sherlocks, teVenti’s popularity has soared. They were able to gain distribution in Kroger South stores, where pouches retail at 2 for $4.00. Empire Distributors is another great partner who has helped teVenti expand their product beyond OTP and the state of Georgia, and into Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Ohio, and even the Country of Panama.
Their products are made in North Georgia and packaged in Roswell. Diana loves hearing positive feedback from customers who have just tried teVenti for the first time. But she says the hardest part of the job is getting a consumer to pick it off the shelf, without having tried it already.
