Back in January, two area Taco Mac’s converted to Morgan’s Sports Grill. According to Tomorrow’s News Today, on Wednesday, May 30, the two restaurants, located at 9020 Highway 92 in Woodstock and 2650 Dallas Highway in Marietta, will reopen as part of the Taco Mac brand. “Taco Mac will operate both of these restaurants as of May 30. The specific terms of the deal are not being disclosed.”
Taco Mac owner and CEO Harold Martin, Jr. stated that “we aim to be Georgia’s best neighborhood restaurant for craft beer enthusiasts, families and sports fans. We’re thrilled to bring back our award-winning wings, the most craft beer on draft and our popular ‘Brewniversity’ program to our friends and neighbors in Woodstock and Marietta”.
We have heard several comments from trusted friends on how Morgan’s stacked up to Taco Mac; some favorite items from the Taco Mac menu were missing(the famous Queso!), while some new items on the Morgan’s menu were a welcomed addition. No news yet on what the return of the Taco Mac name will mean for the menu, but you can count on great wings and plenty of craft beer.
