Two area Taco Macs will be changing their name this new year. The Highway 92 location in Woodstock and Dallas Highway location in Marietta will be converting to a Morgan’s Sports Bar and Grill on January 1st and January 30th respectively. Franchise owner Rick Lindsay did not renew his Taco Mac contract, according to Tomorrow’s News Today.
In a conversation with the bar manager at the Highway 92 store, he said their will be a menu change, but that it will be similar to the existing menu. The interior will not see a big change. Taco Mac is well known for its Brewniversity loyalty program, so that remains to be seen how it will convert to Morgan’s beers on tap rewards.
