Three different retail stores are moving locations.
In Woodstock, Maxwell’s Cigar Bar, is relocating just down the street to the Towne Place Shopping Center, citing a bigger location for less rent and more parking spots. This center is home to Gloss Salon, Dive Georgia, and J Miller’s Smoke House. Their new address will be 158 Towne Lake Parkway.
In addition, a new Mexican restaurant called Fajita Valley will anchor the end location spot of the center plus a new nail salon, Polish Lounge, just opened as well showing some revitalization to this area, which is right near Downtown. So if cigars are your thing (or live music or whiskey) they have an offer of buying 5 cigars and the 6th is free.
In Roswell, a new boutique hotel is planned by Canton Place Development LLC. The site includes a 125 room boutique hotel, 7,200 square foot special event space, chef-driven restaurant with rooftop dining, a luxury spa, an expansive park-like garden and an underground parking facility.
Canton Place will be built on 2.3 acre site east of Mimosa Boulevard between Webb and Magnolia Streets, where the Wells Fargo is currently located. Hence, some stores on Webb street are relocating.
Serendipity gift store established in 2005 is more than an ordinary gift shop. They carry products that inspire giving and a beautiful living..specializing in local & American made products.
They will be moving from 25 Webb Street to 35 Oak Street, home of The Whiskey Project, Tap and Six, and ROCO, Roswell’s creative community. So shop local and visit Serendipity.
Another retailer from 34 Webb Street is also moving to 27 Oak Street, Heirloom Iron Bed Company and Fine Linens. They sell
beautiful iron beds made in the USA and fine European linens. Owner Terry Parker said:
Some buildings will be replaced, as part of the new Boutique Hotel development. Our current location will be a part of that. We hope to be in the new location by early September._____________
It is with a heavy heart that we tell you our building in Roswell has been purchased and will be demolished this fall. We will close later in September. We look forward to serving you until we close. We will announce our exact date soon along with our future plans for Roswell. Our shops in Decatur and on the BeltLine will remain open for business and we hope to see you there. We want to thank our customers and neighbors for making us feel so welcome in the Roswell community.
