After transforming the restaurant and the menu from the famous Oak Street Cafe, The Whiskey Project is now ready to proclaim its own legacy in Roswell at 45 Oak Street opening on Friday June 15th at 5pm. They are self-described as:
The mission of The Whiskey Project is to provide the best quality of experience for their guests, by offering the broadest spirit and cocktail selection, curated by a highly knowledgeable staff that seeks to increase the enjoyment and knowledge of our members. TWP will offer over 1,000 spirits from around the world, focusing on spirits from North America, the United Kingdom and Ireland. The cocktail menu will include 30 cocktails, categorized by their base spirits. The Whiskey offerings will be supported by a selection of wine, as well as local, domestic and imported draft beers.. TWP is a full dinning establishment with a menu that allows for a traditional sit down meal, or a shareable experience.
Owner Marcus Bifaro has said opening the restaurant and building out the restaurant has literally been a “project”, but they are ready to open now that their staff is trained. This full-scale, 100-seat restaurant and bar is headed by chef Kevin Leveille, formerly of Seed Kitchen and Bar. He will prepare a menu with “shareable experiences.” Many of the foods will be created to pair nicely with whiskeys, but are stand-alone meals too. Menu options included snacks, lunch, brunch, and dinner.
The decor will be inviting and warm; but watch for a twist of Brooklyn attitude like in the wallpaper created by Mike Diamond of the Beastie Boys.
We first brought you this story in May 2017, so cheers to their long awaited grand opening!
