You can come in with your own blues instrument of choice and sign your name on a list that the organizer then chooses and mixes with others, who have also brought instruments to form a blues band. Each band gets 15 minutes to perform three songs or less.

Even if performing is not your thing, but you just love listening to Blues, you are in for a treat. I have a blast every time I go.

It is a small place that has limited parking, but you are allowed to park across the street at the Book Nook or one business down if there is unavailable parking. This is a great place to support local music. Follow them on Facebook to see their performer calendar.

Darwin’s Burgers and Blues is located at 1598 Roswell Road, Marietta, 30062.

A Scoop Star, Hadley Elizabeth, sings the blues on Thursday nights.
