The owner, Jeff Brawand, founded the CornholeATL League five years ago. He hails from Cincinnati where he said Cornhole is a very popular activity! To understand how the leagues work, here is some Q&A and yes, you don’t have to have a partner to join!
How does the league function? Each league consists of 7 weeks of cornhole play. The first six weeks are regular season play, with one best of three matchup per week. The schedules are posted prior to the first week of the season. In the seventh week, all teams compete in the playoffs to determine that location’s champion! The top teams from each locations tournament will then compete in a City Tournament! CornholeATL will provides handcrafted boards and bags, team shirts, food/drink specials and all you have to do is bring you team and the fun!
How do I sign-up a team? Teams are comprised of 2 – 10 players (subs are great just in case some folks can’t make it all the time), all males, all females, or mixed. You can Register Here. Then, click the Register button for the specific location and division (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced) you want to sign-up for. Select Team Captain, create an account, and then invite your team members to join your squad.
Can I register as a single person? Sure can! CornholeATL will pair you together with other Free Agents or add you to another team for the division you sign-up for. When you register, select free agent.
