Update: This location will open November 16, 2017. SMG Marietta is located off of Powers Ferry Road Southeast and Roswell Road in Marietta, Georgia. This location will feature 1,285 luxury lounge chairs and recliners in 11 auditoriums outfitted with the latest digital projection, Dolby 3D, Q-SYS custom sound systems, as well as a full-service bar and lounge and made-to-order American Grill menu. The address is 80 Powers Ferry Road.
Texas based Studio Movie Grill, which has locations in Duluth and Alpharetta, plans to expand to Marietta with their one stop eat-drink-movie concept.
They are looking at opening in a 20 acre center across from the new Andretti’s Indoor Race Karting, that previously was a Sport’s Authority and Harry’s Grocery Store at Interstate 75 and Powers Ferry Road, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
As movie theaters compete for your dollar, Studio Movie Grill becomes more of a movie destination with reserved seating, comfortable seats, food options, and 60 premium spirits.
