Twin Peaks Restaurant Now Open In Kennesaw

Update: Twin Peaks Restaurant is now open in Kennesaw.

If you haven’t heard of Twin Peaks Restaurant, it was started by a former CEO of Atlanta-Based Hooters of America. The Texas-based chain currently has a Buckhead location and is expanding to Kennesaw. The restaurant chain features attractive waitresses, mountain lodge decor and the tagline “Eats. Drinks. Scenic Views.”

According to Amy Wenk, staff writer for the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Twin Peaks is taking over the Arena Tavern space on George Busby Parkway. The 13,000 square ft restaurant will feature 32 beers on tap, fireplaces, and patio dining. She referred to it as a new “breast-aurant” coming to town, which made me chuckle. But we all know the way to a man’s stomach is the food, so that must be good too! They do seem to have a diverse menu.

Since I haven’t had a chance to Scoop out the restaurant yet, this is how it is self described on their website:

Welcome to your mountain lodge getaway. Here at Twin Peaks, we offer everything you crave and more: hearty made-from-scratch comfort food, draft beer served at a teeth-chattering 29 degrees and all the best sports on TV shown on high-definition flat screens. All of this is served by our friendly and attentive Twin Peaks Girls, offering their signature “Girl Next Door” charisma and playful personalities to ensure that your adventure happens at the Peaks. We’re your Mountain Manual for a good time- Game on!

Scoop has recently shared that five major restaurant chains are opening very soon in Kennesaw. Is this the result of the growth of KSU and its new football team? Of course, the economy is turning up, but seems like a lot of college friendly restaurants coming to town. Regardless of the reason, Scoop is excited about this OTP progress. We welcome Chuys, World of Beer, Tin Lizzy Taqueria and Cantina, First Watch, & Tom & Chee (which is now open!).
