The Vintage Styled Life

VSL1Social Media, like it or not, is such a great way to find out about a local business. That’s exactly how we found The Vintage Styled Life, through mutual business friends on Facebook. When I noticed several of our Made OTP artisans referring to the store as a place to find their products, we put it on the list to go check out. It’s located in Roswell, so why hadn’t we seen it before? Long story short, we finally got a chance to visit!

VSL3The Vintage Styled Life is off of the main street of Downtown Roswell, but definitely worth the short trip around the corner. Their mission is to showcase local artisans while still providing you with high quality items for your home. Tons of re-purposed and up-cycled products are available, as well as some locally made staples that are great for gifts and other new items like books and jewelry.

When we walked in, it was so funny because we recognized several products right away that we have already written about, like Mellabelle bath products and French Silver linen towels. So when we met Davina, theFS2-300x292 owner, it was like we already knew her. She was so helpful and anxious to explain the origin of just about everything in her store — which I love to hear about when I’m shopping up-cycled products.

Another really cool feature to the Vintage Styled Life is the option to rent items. You know how it is very popular and Pinterest-y to have vintage items at your wedding or a photo shoot? Where can you get that funky old sofa or mason jars for your table? The Vintage Styled Life has these goodies for rent. Davina has been in interior design and home staging for over 20 years, so setting the stage with the right props for your next event is easy, big or small.

Next time you are headed to Roswell, be sure to travel off the beaten path a bit and check out the Vintage Styled Life and look for some unique treasures. Follow their Facebook page for specials. And tell them Scoop sent you.
