Acworth just got a little more exciting with the opening of The Rustic Market, a farmhouse style gift shop and boutique, located right outside of the Brookstone neighborhood.

We have known owner Debbie Strasser for several years, and knew she was a go-getter the minute we met her. What started out as a one-room business in Douglasville, to a booth inside of the Sassy Flea in Dalton, has bloomed into a brick and mortar store that was beautifully built out be she and her husband. Debbie knew there was a need for a gift shop in her area, so in August she went for it.

The Rustic Market carries a little bit of everything from beautiful farmhouse style decor, boutique apparel, baby gifts, pillows, tea towels, bath & body products and too many more to list. And, they love to support local, handmade and other woman owned businesses. Personally, I love a store I can pop in and get myself something while finding that perfect gift for someone else — and that’s exactly what Rustic Market offers.

Debbie is also the owner Rustic Brands, which sells and distributes the Rustic Hardware line. Rustic Hardware is carried at The Rustic Market, but primarily is sold wholesale to over 250 retailers across the US and Canada. Serena Appiah, winner of Home & Garden Trendsetter of the Year from Thrift Diving, is presenting the Rustic Hardware line at several Home & Garden shows in the Southeast this Fall. It’s a very exciting time for the brand!

The Rustic Market

So next time you are in the Acworth/Kennesaw area, stop in and see what the Rustic Market has to offer. It’s a great place to get ideas for your home while supporting local business. Make a day of it and grab lunch at neighboring Reveille Cafe — which we have not tried yet but have on good authority that it is amazing. And be sure to let them know Scoop sent you.
