Exciting news for Painted Pig Fans! Joseph Guynep, owner of The Study, is re-opening the upstairs portion of the Painted Pig as a jazz and blues gathering place. The Pig is set to re-open this Friday night during Downtown Canton’s First Friday event with North Georgia’s musicians, Wet Jeans. The Pig will have a full bar and a limited menu.
The Pig will start off being open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. And Thursday night trivia will be return! Friday nights will feature jazz and blues musical acts, and Saturday night will bring back the very popular comedy shows. Guynep’s efforts are to keep people in Downtown Canton for more than just their dinner — so even if they have dined elsewhere, folks will want to head over to The Pig for a nightcap and some quality entertainment. We love his attitude!
What about the downstairs part of the Painted Pig? Something is in the works… All we can say now is that it will be a chef-driven menu and to stay tuned for more details!
