Rob Lowe swung through Firearms Training Academy & Triple Hex MFG located at 9045 Hickory Flat Highway. Lowe is in Georgia filming a series for Netflix.
Owner Michael Straughan said he was a very cool guy to talk to, but they didn’t discuss the series. Straughan said their business is known for training different law enforcement agencies around the state. They also offer civilian training.
According to an August Deadline article, Lowe could be here to film Dog Gone.
Emmy nominee Rob Lowe is set to headline and executive produce the Netflix movie Dog Gone, based on the true story of a father and son who repair their fractured relationship during a forced hike of the Appalachian trail to find their beloved lost dog. Also starring in the movie, which is directed by Stephen Herek (Mr. Holland’s Opus, The Three Musketeers and The Mighty Ducks) is Johnny Berchtold and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
