With three locations and 500 dealer booths OTP in Alpharetta, Buford and Marietta, you never know what you are going to find when you browse through Queen of Hearts. It seems like there are new products and vendors daily as their website, Facebook, and Pinterest pages are constantly updating!
I don’t know much about antiquing — it’s just not really my style. But I can appreciate the quality of the timeless pieces that they have displayed. The re-purposed pieces or handmade pieces are more up my alley. Michelle and I both loved the wood signs by Now South.
From a Farmhouse Paint demo to Southern Gourmet Catering Company hosting a potato bar, you never know what you might find! You can pretty up your patio, get inspired for a wedding, go rustic or ravishing with decor! Of course, if vintage and antiques are your thing, you will be in heaven!
So many booths caught our attention. We left inspired with ideas and felt our creative juices starting to flow. I know some of you know how to recreate these treasures but, for me, I like to purchase “as is” and support the local artists! They have a ton of resources too from coin appraisal, custom monogramming, painted furniture and home staging to name a few.
One interesting dealer at the Alpharetta location is Anitra Mecadon’s Sophisticated Junk. She specializes in colorful accents and accessories for your home and is also the TV host and Design/Build Expert of the DIY Network show MegaDens, and has hosted shows on both HGTV and DIY.
On Pintrest, they featured an idea of a wagon wheel herb garden. Where does one even get a wagon wheel? Oh yes, Queen of Hearts!
If you are a collector of something specific or know someone who is, visiting Queen of Hearts is fun. My mother-in-law loves English tea cups, so when I venture to these stores, I am always on the search.We had the chance to visit 2 of the 3 stores — Marietta and Alpharetta. Watch out, Buford — the Scoop girls are coming!
