Firebirds & Black Walnut Cafe Enter OTP

It’s so exciting when restaurant chains from other cities enter the Georgia market — especially when they come OTP first! Alpharetta is lucky to be getting two new restaurant chains that we can’t wait to try.

FirebirdsFirebirds is a casual restaurant offering a refined atmosphere, top-notch service and upscale dining at a modest price. Originally opened in 2000 in Charlotte, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill was named one of ten 2014 ‘Breakout Brands’ by Nation’s Restaurant News and received a 2014 Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. They credit their success to providing a full-spectrum dining experience enhanced with local flavor.

Firebirds believes in giving back to their communities. Every Firebirds location supports Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation by donating one dollar from the sale of every Firebirds Fresh Squeezed Lemonade to fund the fight against childhood cancer. Their first location in Georgia will be in Alpharetta at 2665 Old Milton Parkway and is scheduled to open on May 9th.

Black Walnut Cafe Scoop OTPBlack Walnut Cafe is a Texas based breakfast, brunch and dinner restaurant that was established in 2002. They offer a contemporary American, fast-casual concept that appeals to everyone. Whether you want an eggs benedict, coffee, dessert, martini, hand crafted sandwiches, certified Angus pot roast or an Asian tuna salad, they have it all from 6:30am to 10pm. They offer 100 unique items on their breakfast/lunch menu, so you can get something new every visit. They are expected to open in mid-June according to their General Manager, Kurt Schleinz.

Tomorrow’s News Today reported back in July that they were coming to Peachtree Corners, Dunwoody and Alpharetta but a Scoop fan just saw the Alpharetta signage go up on Windward and Northpoint Parkway; so get ready to brunch!
