Mall Revamped 80’s Style for Stranger Things + Casting Call

You know Stranger Things is filmed in Atlanta; but this time the Netflix Series is transforming an entire mall for the show 80’s style according to Tomorrow’s News Today.

Gwinnett Place Mall is undergoing activity with new stores opening temporary, as the show will be filming at the mall, renamed “Starcourt Mall” for the production.

The show’s Indiana city is right here  inside a Gwinnett mall that hasn’t been redeveloped,  so it has the proper feel for the 1984 show.  The flooring on the second floor has been replaced with red carpet, and retro wood planters and benches were added as well, to create a true 1980s mall experience.  For a step back in time, signs for Radio Shack, Spencer’s, Chess King, the gap, Waldenbooks,  Claire’s JCPenney, JCPenney Home Store, Zales, Sam Goody and Wicks “N” Sticks, among others are added.

Perhaps you can be part of the show with a  Casting Call from Taylor Made Casting.
