Free Shuttle Bus for Charlie Daniel’s Band Concert

Due to the anticipated large crowd for this Friday’s concert, the Charlie Daniel’s Band, the City of Woodstock officials announce a free shuttle service.

To assist concert-goers ease of access to the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater, the City of Woodstock will offer a free shuttle service; leaving from Northside Towne Lake Parking Deck located at 900 Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock traveling to and from the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater located at 101 Arnold Mill Road in Woodstock.

Two 44 passenger shuttle buses will run from 5:00p.m. – 11:45p.m. Individuals interested in utilizing this service may park at the Northside Towne Lake parking Deck to ride the shuttle.  The shuttle will then drop-off/pick-up riders along East Main Street in downtown Woodstock.

This service may be offered for future concerts as well.  Announcements regarding a shuttle service for future concerts will be made in the near future. Most summer concerts are on a Saturday night, so remember this is a Friday night event. 

The 20th annual Summer Concert Series will open this Friday, May 12th, with the Charlie Daniels Band.  Charlie Daniels, who was recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, is sure to be a crowd-pleaser with his signature song “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”  All summer concerts begin at 7:30p.m. and admission is free.  Across the Wide will also be performing.
