Flip or Flop Atlanta

Flip or Flop AtlantaUpdate: The Corsini’s of Flip or Flop Atlanta were featured on the Today show and spoke about how to transform run-down properties into charming Southern homes. They discussed trends in home renovation, including swapping granite for quartz, using large subway tiles to make a room look larger, and wide-wood plank flooring.

If you weren’t already a fan of HGTV and their shows that range from home makeovers to real estate bargains to tiny homes, you might want to tune in. HGTV has announced that its hit show, Flip or Flop, will have a series based in Atlanta, with Woodstock real estate team as the stars.

The newest installment in its Flip or Flop franchise – Flip or Flop Atlanta – will premiere on Thursday, July 20, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The 13-episode series follows expert flippers Ken and Anita Corsini of Woodstock as they transform rundown properties into charming southern homes. With Anita’s real estate and design expertise and Ken’s know-how as a licensed contractor, no project is too big for this reno-savvy duo in Atlanta, a market that Forbes magazine ranked among the top 10 for real estate investment.

The series will start with a renovation on a house in Buckhead, but we also know that the show will feature OTP homes as well. We did get a chance to tour a renovated Marietta home during the filming, to meet the Corsini’s and to see their work in person. We are confident they will do a great job representing Atlanta to the rest of the HGTV viewers across the U.S.

This is not HGTV’s first time featuring OTP homes — a Canton family was recently selected for HGTV’s House Hunters, that just wrapped filming this week.
