Update: August 22 – After much anticipation, they are now open for dinner with lunch starting next week.
Louis Soon of South Main Kitchen is opening Butcher & Brew, a new craft American sandwich shop in Alpharetta. They had originally planned to open in March 2016 at 3 South Main Street.
This restaurant will have a relaxed, urban-industrial atmosphere with two 70 inch LED TVs over the bar and many 42 inch televisions spread around. With more than 20 beers on tap and a gluten free option, the bar is sure to please many.
Executive Chef Christy Stone is still finalizing the menu, but they’ll have about 10 signature gourmet sandwiches. Other sources said they’ll offer three types of fries: shoestring, steak cut, and sweet potato — or fried green beans as an alternative! In addition, salads and bowls will offer healthier options as well as a great Sunday brunch.
They are working with a 1902 building. By using glavanized steel, zinc metal, white washed bricks and a wood floor, they want to make Butcher & Brew look different than South Main Kitchen.
We look forward to their opening and hearing more about their menu. Follow The Dirt for the latest restaurant openings.
