U.S. News and World Report has released its annual list of the best high schools in the country and has broken them down by state. Of the Georgia schools ranked in 2017, 18 were awarded gold medals, 45 earned silver medals and 48 received bronze medals. The highly ranked Davidson Magnet School is located in Augusta, within the Richmond County School District, about 150 miles from Atlanta. Multiple OTP schools that made the list this year.
