Alpine Bakery Expands to Woodstock

Update:  The bakery is open! But, beware – there is no sit down full menu service like their Crabapple location, just fabulous desserts and some grab and go breakfast items. Yes, you can get coffee to go too! Alpine Bakery lists this second location in Woodstock, GA, but the official address city is 405 Toonigh Road in Holly Springs, GA. Enjoy their 60 feet of bakery cases.

Update 5-2-2016: They are having a soft opening now, but stay tuned for the their grand opening.  They are trying a limited breakfast grab and go option too, but I went in for their famous desserts as they had many full display cases!  They will be open 7am to 7pm Tuesday – Sunday.  There isn’t dine-in eating, as the rest of the large facility (14,000 square feet) is for wholesale distribution to restaurants including Marietta Diner & Sidelines.

I know we wanted more, but Woodstock is a bakery only and not a trattoria like the Crabapple location. There are over 80 confections available as well as specialty coffee drinks as well as various freshly baked breakfast pastries. We can hope they add some outside seating or a few indoor tables for those that want to indulge right away, and not eat in our car!

Alpine Bakery is expanding to Woodstock at the corner of Highway 5 and Toonigh road. Thank you to a Scoop Fan who alerted us of this scrumptious scoop!

Alpine Bakery Woodstock Scoop OTPAn Alpine representative confirmed that it will be a very large, counter-style bakery as well as a limited lunch and morning menu — not a complete trattoria like the Crabapple location (but honestly, we are just there for the dessert most of the time!) We will share the official press release with more information when it is released. We are so excited for their opening in Spring 2016.

The original Scoop-Approved Alpine Bakery is located at 12315 Crabapple Road in Alpharetta.

The new location will be 405 Toonigh Road in a 14,000 square foot building that has 180 feet of road frontage and sits on two acres. We wish them the best of luck and welcome them to the west side of OTP!
