Von Maur Department Stores is getting closer to open a 165,000-square-foot store at the Mall of Georgia in Buford. Scheduled to open in September 2016, the store will be the Company’s third location in Georgia. 
They have more than 30 stores across 14 states, with a heavy midwest concentration.
Known for its outstanding selection of brand name and specialty apparel, shoes, acce
ssories and gifts, the store will feature products from leading brands such as Free People, Kate Spade New York, Joe’s Jeans and Tommy Bahama, among many others.
Located at the mall’s former Nordstrom location, the two-level Von Maur store will receive a complete renovation beginning in Summer 2015 in order to feature the Company’s signature residential ambiance, complete with antiques, original artwork, open-floor plan and music from the store’s grand piano. It is expected that the store will eventually employ 200 associates – the majority of which will be full-time.
Van Maur is also located at NorthPoint and Perimeter Mall.
