Known for its commitment to bring health and wellness through fresh, high-quality superfoods, Vitality Bowls Superfood Café is now open in Alpharetta City Center at 364 Commerce St.
Alpharetta City Center is a 26-acre mixed-use property developed in partnership with the City of Alpharetta to expand the existing downtown historic district by 6 city blocks. The city opened its new City Hall, a new Fulton County Library, the five-acre Brook Street Park, the one-acre Town Green, and the 445-car parking deck in January of 2015.
Locally owned by Paula Sauer, Vitality Bowls specializes in making açaí bowls, a thick blend of the açaí berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfood ingredients such as bee pollen and hemp seed.
Other super foods include the pitaya, or dragon fruit, as well as acerola, which is a cherry sized tropical fruit, and graviola, which is often referred to as a blend between a strawberry and a pineapple. Camu-camu, spirulina, aronia, maca and moringa are additional super food options as well.
Also on the menu are smoothies, fresh juices, soups, salads and panini. All items are made fresh-to-order in a kitchen designed to avoid cross contamination of common food allergens.
