Food Network star Willie Degel is bringing his famous Uncle Jack’s Meat House to Duluth this fall.
Willie Degel, host of the show “Restaurant Stakeout,” has three Uncle Jack’s locations in New York city, as well as Jack’s Shack Organic Eatery. This new venture will be the first in Georgia.
Degel chose metro Atlanta due to it being “a great eating city,” and subsequently chose Duluth due to its proximity to the Infinite Energy Center.
Uncle Jack’s Meat House will feel similar to a 1900’s meat warehouse and carry affordable, farm to table dishes, as well as locally sourced craft cocktails.
Naturally, I checked out the desserts first, and think the scratch made cookie plate and the peanut butter and banana jar are on my list must-try items. Check out the full menu and follow them on Facebook for details about the opening date.
And, if you can’t wait that long, they are hosting soft public openings through Saturday the 17th from 5-9. Call to RSVP and get a sneak peek at what’s in store.
