Recently I had the chance of checking out 37 Main in Buford, Ga. Fantastic is not a good word to describe this rustic tavern located in historic downtown Buford — Perfection is more accurate. In fact I would rate 37 Main as the best party bar I have been to in the OTP.
37 Main is upscale but not overdone. With its exposed brick, hardwood floors, and intimate lights, the decor says welcome, relax, and enjoy. This perfect bar will keep surprising you with a full menu from appetizers to steaks and seafood. If 37 Main was just a restaurant, I would praise it as an awesome place to dine. Service is first rate with an attractive and attentive staff that will be your good friends before the night ends. 37 Main has got it all figured out, and I haven’t even mentioned the best part: the entertainment.
37 Mains proclaims itself as “A Rock Cafe.” For the latest news, check their Facebook page. Every month their event calendar is full of well known local and visiting party rock bands. The night I visited, The Ruckus (one of my absolute favorite bands) was rocking the very packed upstairs area. The sound system, stage, and lighting were all well thought out and the crowd was highly energized.
If you prefer modern dance tunes, travel to 37 Below which is located downstairs. 37 Below features a large dance floor with a DJ spinning all the current music. On Thursday and Sunday nights come in for a dueling piano show that is said to be big fun. All roads lead to The Perfect Bar on 37 Main and the drive is definitely worth the experience.
