The Ball Ground Burger Bus

Update: Opening Sat Dec 19!

This November, downtown Ball Ground will have another place to eat as The Ball Ground Burger Bus is coming to town! True to the time period it is from, the restored Pullman Company trackless trolley car from 1948 is designed with stools, a ticket box, and more than 100 windows.

The Ball Ground Burger Bus is the brainchild of T.Y. Brown and his son, Dylan. Their goal is to serve gourmet burgers, using the freshest ingredients possible. They’ll offer a burger with fried grits (the Hercules), a burger topped with bacon and maple syrup, as well as other unique concoctions.

Already being touted as “the Big Chicken of Ball Ground,” the Ball Ground Burger Bus is sure to become a landmark. We wish the Browns the best of luck, and can’t wait to get a chance to try one of their burgers!

Thanks to the Cherokee Tribune for the story!

The Ball Ground Burger Bus will be located at 288 Gilmer Ferry Road in Ball Ground and is expected to open in November.

Tom Cruise recently put Ball Ground in the media spotlight with the filming of the movie Mena.
