According to the Retail Planning Corporation’s website, a Sprouts Farmers Market is coming to the Shops at Buckhead Crossing in the Towne Lake area of Woodstock. Tuesday Morning is moving next door to a smaller suite with 15,069 square feet, and Sprouts will take over their 28,800 square foot facility. According to an employee at Tuesday Morning, the move will take place in February, 2017.
There has been a grocery store restriction in place by Publix, who previously occupied that location. According to Tomorrow’s News Today, a Change.org petition was created to free up that space. A similar situation happened previously with a Sprouts in Dunwoody.
For years, there have been petitions for a Trader Joes to come to the Towne Lake area, but residents will now have a Sprouts as a grocery alternative. Larry Singleton of The Good Group stated:
“We are excited that Sprouts is coming to Retail Planning Corporation’s Buckhead Crossing Shopping Center. With a strong anchor tenant like Sprout’s, this retail center, which has struggled of late, should show immediate increased occupancy.”
