Several new restaurants are opening up around town.

A Tropical Smoothie Cafe is coming to both Marietta at 2960 Shallowford Road Suite 102 and Roswell at 25 West Crossville Road Ste 104. Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s menu boasts bold, flavorful smoothies with a healthy appeal, all made-to-order from the freshest ingredients. Their toasted wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, and bowls are made fresh with quality meats and cheeses, fresh produce and flavorful sauces. The Roswell store opens March 23rd at 7am and the first 50 guests will receive free smoothies for a year and for everyone else, smoothies will be $.99 all day.  The Marietta location will open the following week, the date hasn’t been officially announced yet. There is also a location in Marietta on Cherokee Street and Lewis Drive.

A new chain is entering the state of Georgia and has selected Marietta for its first opening. Welcome to 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza which will be in a revitalized strip center at 280 Cobb Parkway, Suite 40.  You create the pizza or order one of their signature pies and they fire it up at 1,000 degrees. In a conversation with franchise owner Harrell Caines Jr., he said that the target opening is the end of May and that their grand opening day special will be that every single person gets a free 10″ pizza!. He also plans on expanding this business with more Cobb and Fulton locations.

The shopping center is also now home to the only Tupperware Studio in the state. A 2,400 square foot is the 28th overall for the now 70-year-old company, allows customers to test, try and experience assorted Tupperware products as well as enjoy meal prep and food demonstrations. In addition, a Golden Krust Carribean bakery and grill is also opening in this revitalized Marietta Trade Center. For more details, we refer you to Tomorrow’s News Today full report.

In Roswell, Boneyard Kitchen & Tap is opening where Blue Agave was located at 12050 Etris Rd. They are currently hiring and planning an April opening.  According to their Facebook page, they will be the place to go on game day as their Sony Brava 75-65-55 inch TVs just arrived.

And a popular ITP restaurant, HobNob, refined tavern fare with a southern flair is opening in Dunwoody, ready to be their new neighborhood tavern.  With locations in Midtown and Brookhaven, this perimeter area restaurant will be their third location. According to their website:

HOBNOB is a “spirited” place, featuring one of the largest collections of bourbon and whiskey in the Southeast. Fine Southern additions to the menu of refined tavern fare combined with sincere and friendly service make visiting this community-driven establishment a must for both weekday revelers and weekend warriors.
