Ever had Red Hare IPA, Long Day Lager, or any other Red Hare beer? Red Hare Brewing Company is OTP, located in Marietta. I just went with a group on Thursday night to a beer tasting event, honoring a new Red Hare IPA Beer. What a great night we had!
They offer a couple of specialty beers (that are not sold in stores or restaurants!) that you can sample at the tastings, such as Lemon Drop IPA and Gangway IPA with Mango and Habanero. Yum! You can also purchase an assortment of Red Hare products, such as hats, t-shirts, koozies, and more, with their awesome rabbit logo.
There is a huge open area for a large crowd to gather that also has a few entertaining games such as Cornhole and Bocce Ball.
Red Hare does beer tastings Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5:00-8:00pm and Saturdays from 2:00-6:00pm. They even have live entertainment on Friday and Saturday. You can look on their website to find out about all events offered. It is something different to do that is fun and affordable.
By the way, the new IPA Beer was great, and they also make a great (non-alcoholic) Root Beer! Follow them on Facebook for the latest news.

Scoop has Red Hare brewery on their OTP Bucket List! In fact, we had a chance to meet the owner Roger at a marketing event. He is very proud of being from Marietta — the city is labeled on everything! If you plan an event, ask for Heidi and tell her Scoop OTP sent you. Great idea for a birthday party or company meeting!
Red Hare can be found at many establishments including 120 Tavern & Music Hall, also in Marietta.
