Kevin Spacey to Produce TV Series in Atlanta
Kevin Spacey, the love-to-hate President from the Netflix series House of Cards, is executive producing a scripted series about Unabomber Ted Kaczynski in and around Atlanta. The series, entitled “Manifesto”, will be shooting in town from January through June 2017, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.
Kaczynski sent explosives through the mail for over 20 years. He also penned his own social critiques of his bombing plots called “The Manifesto,” on which the series is based. The eight series show will focus on Jim Fitzgerald, the FBI agent who brought down Kaczynski, played by Paul Bettany. Fitzgerald will be played by Sam Worthington. The series will air on Discovery.
