After 9 years serving our friends, family and customers in Roswell, first as Houck’s Grille and later as Coastal, we have made the difficult decision to suspend restaurant operations as of January 1, 2025. We have been the place where Roswell High School held their sports banquets ,where Blessed Trinity watched their Friday night away games, watched where you came to watch Banks & Shane, where you enjoyed our famous fried shrimp and we appreciate all the support over the years.
But unfortunately our restaurant had more adversity than most. We had hundreds of thousands of dollars stolen from us by one of our managers during the Pandemic. We hired the wrong person to help us rebrand after Bill retired. And unfortunately we confused and disappointed our customers while we were trying to right the ship.
We will stage private and music events during January as we regroup, hopefully under a new brand and ownership. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions as one of the owners.Carolyn Bradfield

When we first started Scoop, we went to Houck’s and loved their live music and Bill was sweet to us to share his restaurant scoop. I know this was an iconic restaurant to many and sorry to see it close.
