NEW! Test Your Boating Skills—United States Power Squadrons® Boating Skills Virtual Trainer
Boating is fun. So is learning to boat on the United States Power Squadrons® (USPS) new Boating Skills Virtual Trainer (BSVT).
Take the helm and set out on a simulated ”boat trip” to practice boating skills such as docking, pivot turns, stopping and more. The BSVT is equipped with a steering wheel and real Mercury throttle to give you hands-on experience as you pilot your virtual boat on a lake with other powerboats, sailboats, navigation aids and a marina
Lessons include departing the dock, fairways, pivot turns, moorings, docking, slalom, crossing/overtaking/meeting and emergency stops. Current and wind direction and velocity, and day/night settings can be adjusted to vary the degree of difficulty and challenge you whatever your skill level.
