It would be so fun to live in one of these great downtown OTP areas with all their fun restaurants and shops! Another new restaurant called Double Take Cafe is making it’s OTP debut off the Marietta Square at 34 Powder Springs Street on 8-1 (update below). It’s just a couple doors down from the Marietta Wine Market and recently opened 1 Block Over.
If you are craving smokehouse favorites, modern southern cuisine and decadent house-made desserts, this restaurant needs to be on your Marietta rotation. With an email address of BakerBoys@doubletakecakes.com, their desserts better be good!
B.J. Shaffer, a local artist and food fanatic, and Army vet and Le Cordon Bleu graduate Stoney Morris are opening their first restaurant as owners. Stoney is from Scoop Approved Century House Tavern and has been working with with Chef Daniel Porubiansky for the past couple of years.
We are pro-people, pro-food, and pro-dogs. We love everyone who wants to eat delicious things!
We are also super excited to be featuring three of our favorite KSU artists to debut our gallery wall: Leann Alame, Christopher Neuenschwander, and Sydney Privitera.
$10 per person for fantastic food and art with part of the proceeds going to Mutt-Madd-ness, a Marietta based dog rescue organization.
