Batter Cookie Dough Counter “Pop-Up” in Avalon

Update of dates and times at Avalon for Dec 2018

Have you been wanting to try a delicious bowl of edible cookie dough? Batter Cookie Dough Counter, the popular Ponce City Market eatery that scoops up dough in a variety of flavors, will pop up at Avalon every Saturday and Sunday this summer beginning April 8 through the end of October.

Batter will serve up eggless cookie dough in The Plaza, Avalon’s central green space at the heart of the mixed-use community. The product is made locally in Atlanta, and flavors include chocolate chip, sugar cookie, cookies and cream and salted caramel. The pop-up will have six standard flavors and one rotating “Flavor of the Weekend.” Select flavors are available in vegan and gluten free varieties to please every palate.

We’re thrilled to continue our tradition of bringing Atlanta’s best food concepts to Avalon with the Batter Cookie Dough Counter pop-up,” said Carla Cox, director of marketing atAvalon. “Avalon is the perfect place to shop, stroll or simply relax with a delicious snack in hand, and we can’t wait to enjoy summer weekends in The Plaza with a scoop of edible cookie dough!

Batter’s pop-up will be open every Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. Foodies can enjoy their favorite flavor cookie dough in a cup or waffle cone and select from an array of sweet toppings and sauces. Catering will also be available.

Batter is a truly local concept I created myself after years of licking the spoon while making a batch of cookies,” said Julie Abes, founder of Batter Cookie Dough Counter. “I’m very excited to satisfy the cookie dough craving in Alpharetta at our new pop-up location at Avalon this summer!
