Ball Ground has seen an upturn in its retail over the past couple of years, and now they will have a coffee shop for you to get your caffeine fix. Barrel House Coffee Company announced on its social media page that it is planning a December opening for its shop.
The business grew out of a passion for a few things: coffee, bourbon, tattoos, family and a surplus of bourbon barrels. After some experimenting with aging coffee beans in the barrels, roasting the beans and sharing it with friends, Barrel House Coffee was born.
Barrel House prides itself on selling true-to-weight one pound bags of coffee. And if you’re not a bourbon-flavored coffee fan, they have non-bourbon aged coffee too. Stay tuned for details on drink options, as well as possibly some pastry choices.
