Do you want to pick up ready to go home-made Italian dinners? If so, check out Amicis Italian Kitchen on Sixes Road in Canton. The specials change weekly so there is always something new to try. They also serve pizzas, pastas, made to order sandwiches with bread from Tribeca Bakery and deli meat from Thumanns, as well as a variety of salads and soups.
Owner Carlo Delpizzo formerly owned Amicis (Now Wicked Wings) in Canton, Wingsology in Jasper and his family owned an Italian Market in Lavallette,New Jersey. His business manager Brian GraBois. In fact, Delpizzo’s is a second generation Italian and his grandparent’s family market was his inspiration for this location. He will be carrying speciality foods, pastas, desserts in addition to his variety of menu offerings.
Amicis offers a variety of pizzas from a grandma’s flat sheet pizza, to a Trenton tomato pie with sauce on 
top, to styles from St Louis and Detroit style. Delpizzo said that his customers like variety and he is able to offer that custom pizza.
Some of the grab and go foods may include porkchops, lasagna, porchetta, and baked mostaccioli. The offerings change weekly. My family has enjoyed the rigatoni ala vodka sauce with spicy sausage and their veggie pizza. You can also get pizza by the giant slice.
Amicis also offers subs such as Philly cheesesteaks, meatball, chicken, and eggplant parmesan. A variety of salads are available too such as caprese, arugula, grilled portobello, caesar and antipasto. Some specials they have had include breaded pork chops in a red wine mushroom sauce, lobster ravioli in a pink lump crab sauce, stuffed artichokes, and a double cut pork chop with sweet vinegar peppers. You never know what they will serve up!
