June 27th Update: Metro Diner corporate confirmed to me that they made the tough decision to close Sunday night after only being open 7 months.
We love the Roswell area, especially the Roswell Residents. Unfortunately, this was a business decision that had to be made. We are doing our best to help all our team member transition.
They have other Georgia locations planned. As far as our Georgia expansion in 2017, they will be opening next month in Macon, Augusta in September and Columbus towards the end of the year. We wish them the best of luck and feel bad that the Roswell location didn’t work out.

Update: Celebrate the arrival of Georgia’s first Metro Diner at a special pre-opening charity event on Saturday, Oct. 22 and Sunday, Oct. 23. All proceeds will benefit STAR House and The Drake House. Guests who donate $10 per person will get a sneak peek at the new eatery and enjoy Metro Diner favorites. Reservations can be made online for the fundraiser both days from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Metro Diner, a Jacksonville based restaurant, is coming to Roswell. According to Tomorrow’s News Today, the restaurant will replace Coldbrew’s Sports Bar & Grill on Holcomb Bridge Road. 
Metro Diner is the kind of place you’re proud to take out-of-towners. It’s the kind of place where last night is recalled over pancakes. Where the portions are big, but the egos are small. Where you don’t have to impress anyone and you can come as you are. We believe that when you care about the people you’re cooking for, it shows in the food. And what we serve is comfort food with flair.
In 2010, the restaurant was featured in Food Network’s Diner’s, Drive-Ins and Dives highlighting the Meatloaf Plate, Pittsburg Steak Salad, and their Yo Hala on the Square meals. There are currently 11 Metro Diner locations in Florida with a twelfth coming soon to St. Petersburg. They are also opening new and upcoming locations in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Indiana. This will be their first Georgia location, and we are excited it is OTP!
Metro Diner’s menu includes breakfast, lunch, diner, daily specials and a kid’s menu. They are open everyday except Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you love diners, visit OTP’s Marietta Diner. It will be interesting to see how these two places compare.
