“You never age at the dinner table” is an old traditional Italian saying. And that’s good, because I could have spent all day ordering delicious Italian food at Fusco’s Via Roma’s lovely outdoor porch.
My friend and I were recently in downtown Acworth and I assumed we were going to eat at Henry’s Louisiana Grill, a favorite OTP restaurant destination. But my friend informed me she doesn’t really like seafood or spicy food — and I’m so glad, because it led us somewhere completely new.
When we passed Fusco’s Via Roma, the ambience caught both of our eyes. The hundred-year-old restaurant with their Tuscan colors and artwork made us feel like we had just come across a true Italian sidewalk café or as they say, an authentic feel of a rustic Tuscan trattoria.
Fusco’s is known for using the finest Italian ingredients to create simple dishes. The menu is diverse and features many daily specials. You can’t go wrong with any of these genuine Italian dishes and a bottle of wine.
