A new fast-casual family pizzeria opened in Roswell called Wild Slice. The difference with this restaurant — besides their focus on food quality — is their desire to accommodate the needs of busy families with the hospitality of a casual dining experience.
Owners Mike and Cristy Thomas are excited about this concept that they created out of their own families need. The Thomas’s saw an opportunity to create a restaurant atmosphere that could make both adults and children happy. Wild Slice offers a comfortable, clean environment for both parents and kids with big screens and beer for the adults, and an extensive children’s menu and games for the kids.
Mike Thomas states:
I was looking to bridge the gap between delicious, creative food and a family-friendly environment for local families, like my own, to enjoy. Our entire menu is offered at kids size portions at half the price. We don’t believe in a limited kids menu. We have lenty of family friendly seating, no broken straps on the high chairs.
One thing they offer is that kids get 4 free tokens every day and they offer weekly promotions such as kids eat free on Mondays, takeout Twos-day specials (two topping large pizza, two house salads, two liter of soda for $22), and wild slice Wednesday ($2.50 unlimited topping slices all day).
The Thomas family lives in Roswell and Cristy is a Special Education Kindergarten teacher at Esther Jackson Elementary in Roswell. Mike has extensive restaurant experience including being Director of Operations for Bully Sports Bar. They believe their purpose is to serve the families and bring value to the community.
