Unique Shoppes at the Mall of Georgia

Home to over 200 stores, the Mall of Georgia is the largest mall in Georgia and one of the largest in the United States. We were recently invited to visit the mall and enjoy a meal at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews. They also generously donated a $100 Visa Simon gift card that we are giving away on our contest page during the first week of December — so you can enjoy some holiday shopping on them!

I was excited since the new Von Maur department store just opened, and I had been wanting to check it out. Upon entering Von Maur, we were greeted with lovely piano music and signs that said “please touch the merchandise”, and so I did! Von Maur is a beautiful store and easy to navigate. Since there are only 3 Georgia locations, you shouldn’t have to worry about seeing your friend in the same outfit as you.

My favorite store within the mall was Lush Cosmetics because I am a bath junkie! I was overwhelmed with the scents of all the bath bombs, but was excited to find out that they carry a variety of handmade cosmetic, skincare and hair products too. They are 100% against animal testing, 100% vegetarian, 83% vegan, and everything is made by hand. The store just smells so good!

 

The Altar’d State Clothing store is a signature store at the Mall of Georgia, and has a beautiful holiday window display. Altar’d State started with a mission to fill a gap in the retail industry and change the world for the better with prayer requests and giving back programs. Luckily, there was a great promotion going on during our trip, so I didn’t leave empty handed.

We popped in and out of many stores and enjoyed some Bubble Tea from Bubbleology, as the Mall of Georgia is their only Georgia location. At the time we shopped, it was still unseasonably warm, and we were dreaming of the day that we could wear the beautiful tall boots that Aldo Shoes featured. I grabbed some gifts for my daughter at Aerie, a division of American Eagle, and Fracescas’s had lots of fun, holiday themed movie gifts too, in addition to their wide selection of clothing and jewelry.

If you need an extra wow factor for any of your holiday parties, Sephora had the latest cosmetic trends, and you can update your look in a complimentary 15-minute session with their beauty and skincare advisors. Sephora also had a variety of gift boxes of trial sizes of mascaras, perfumes and cosmetics.

Not to forget about the Little Ones, the Crybaby Swank Company is opening December 3rd at the Mall of Georgia for children’s special occasion wear.

After shopping all day, we worked up an appetite and enjoyed a tasty lunch at Red Robin, which is attached to the mall. You can even order right from the table if you are in a rush.
