I love Italian food — pastas, breads, and yummy salads. But I also have a husband who has it ingrained in his head that he must have meat at every meal. Tuscany Italian Restaurant has proven to be a wonderful place for both of us to get something we love.
Tuscany Italian Restaurant serves northern Italian specialties. They have over 30 selections on their dinner menu, so even a selective eater will be pleased. As with most restaurants, it is the attention to detail that make it superior to its competitors.
And too often, a restaurant that has great food might be lacking in a different area. Not the case at Tuscany. Drinks: off the chart. Desserts: amazing. Try the chocolate cake — it’s made in house and is the owner Malik’s own special recipe.
Located within walking distance to the Cherokee 16 movie theater, I have stopped in at Tuscany a couple of times just for a quick drink or appetizer before heading to a show. I sat in awe at the bar and watched the bartender with a giant bag of mint leaves make the best Mojito I have had in a while. You won’t hear any “we’re out of mint” or “we have no limes” coming out of their mouths. Although it’s always a tough decision for me as they have amazing Peach Bellini’s too.
The staff is eager to accommodate your party, whether there are 2 or 12 of you, and regardless of whether you are staying for a full meal or just stopping in before a show.
Tuscany is also very active in the community, hosting monthly networking meetings for the Woodstock Community Business Association, as well as being home to a local charity fashion show for the past several years.
