As some of you may already know, TNT Basketball reporter Craig Sager is currently undergoing treatment for a form of leukemia. Sager, known for his characteristically eccentric suits, is watching the NBA playoffs from his hospital bed while undergoing a 4 week treatment regimen after being diagnosed earlier this month with the disease.
The NBA sideline celebrity has some strong local support, as the Bridgemill community in Canton will be hosting a “Swabs for Sager” event this Friday, May 2nd from 4:00- 8:00 PM at the Terrace at Bridgemill.
Delete Blood Cancer will be conducting the swab event. Once you are swabbed, you are entered into the national bonemarrow donor registry. To learn more about Delete Blood Cancer, click here.
Participants in the drive will be given a ticket for a complimentary drink ticket at Featherstone’s Grille, also located in Bridgemill, good for that evening.
The Terrace at Bridgemill is located next to the pool at 1190 Bridgemill Ave., Canton GA.
