Steep Tea House in Canton opened this week, making it the third new restaurant to open in the downtown area this month.
Lyn and Ruffin Moye, owners of the Moye Tea Company, have been in operation for the past two years with their online retail store and featured at local gift shops and farmers markets. The brick and mortar store is the latest addition to their tea venture.
The tea room offers a light fare of homemade soups, salad, sandwiches, tea and tea-infused cocktails, beer, wine, and delicious pastries. In addition to serving breakfast and lunch, Steep will serve beer and wine. They’ll offer food and tea pairings, and flights of tea at the bar. High Tea, customized tea parties and special events are also on the menu, with ample meeting space available too.
