St. Patrick’s Day Round Up

It’s not just the luck of the Irish that St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Friday this year, it’s lucky for everyone! There is an abundance of events in honor of the holiday where everyone is Irish, from charity events to pub crawls. Here’s a round up of everything green going on this weekend.

CDA’s St. Paddy’s Day at Gate City Brewing
Join Gate City Brewing for tours, tastings, food and music! $25 gets you a tour, along with a souvenir pint glass and 6 complimentary beer samples. Music by The Seven Sons and great food by Big C’s Chicago Kitchen! Another great event benefitting the CDA Scholarship Fund; tickets will be sold at the door!

Marietta Crawl the SquareMarietta Crawl the Square
Grab an Uber for this one! Crawl the Marietta Square with Reformation Brewery and Red Hare Brewing Company this St. Patrick’s Day! Crawl your way from Stockyard Burgers, Taqueria Tsunami and Two Birds Taphouse.

Red Hare St. Paddy’s Party
Red Hare is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day the Irish way – with some mugs o’ green beer! Join them at the brewery on St. Patrick’s Day and enjoy live music, a food truck, and of course their delicious beer is included in your Tour & Tasting purchase. Prizes for the most festive attire.

Luck of Avalon
Join on Friday, March 17th from 6PM to 10PM as they celebrate the luck o’ the Irish at their third annual Luck of Avalon celebration. Enjoy an evening full of live music, dancing, Irish flair, and of course, green beer!

Olde Blind Dog
The biggest Irish Pub OTP is hosting several events all weekend, including a St. Paddy’s Day Bash on Friday the 17th, a St. Paddy O’Pedal bike ride and a head shaving event on Saturday the 18th, both benefitting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Georgia Swarm Turn the Hive Green St. Patrick’s Day Party
Join the Georgia Swarm Lacrosse team as they face the Calgary Roughnecks. Live music for the pregame, special jerseys during the game, and green beer and autographs following the game. Fun for the whole family!

Mercier Orchards
Head north to Mercier Orchards for live music, green hard cider, green slushies and Irish food. Blue Ridge is hosting their 4th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at Noon on East Main Street, so you can spend the whole day in the mountains.
