Rreal Tacos has purchased the Rootstock Restaurant & Bar in a prime location in Downtown Woodstock at 8558 Main Street Street near the Amphitheater. This will be the 12th location with one opening on the Atlanta Beltline this month and Duluth later this winter. The Woodstock location is expected to open in March 2026.

Also, a Duluth location is opening this winter. The rapidly expanding brand has acquired the space previously occupied by Nacho Daddy at 3095 Main St., continuing its mission to serve high-quality, handcrafted tacos across metro Atlanta.
Under the leadership of CEO Damian Otero and COO Miguel Hernandez, Rreal Tacos has grown rapidly by strategically acquiring second-generation restaurant spaces and streamlining its employee training program to minimize costs and accelerate openings. The downtown Duluth location will be the brand’s 11th metro-Atlanta restaurant and is expected to open in 2025 along with locations in Lawrenceville and along the Atlanta Beltline.

It is with both a heavy heart and a deep sense of gratitude that we announce the closure of our beloved Rootstock on September 28th, 2025. As our journey comes to a close, it is only fitting that it coincides with our 8th anniversary—a milestone made possible by your unwavering support and shared passion for the experiences we’ve cultivated together.
Over the years, Rootstock has been more than just a restaurant and bar; it has been a haven where love and quality have intertwined to create rooted moments that linger in our hearts. From the clinking of glasses during our wine and whiskey tastings to the soulful notes of live music performances, each gathering has been a testament to the community we’ve built. Rootstock has truly been a place where friendships are created.
As we turn this page, we are excited to share that Rootstock will be sold to a new owner who brings fresh ideas and energy. A new concept, with a different name, is set to take root in this space, and while it marks the end of our chapter, we are thrilled to see it continue as a vibrant part of the community you’ve helped us nurture.
